What is the Eckstein Annual Campaign?

The Eckstein PTSA organizes The Eckstein Annual Campaign each year to ensure that every Eckstein student is given learning opportunities which promote academic success and social well-being.

The Impact of Eckstein Annual Campaign

This budget pays for essential needs that the school district does not provide. With your generous donation, we can support academics, athletics, the library, after-school clubs, enrichment activities, teacher resources, and community events.


Some recently approved grants:

  • Tuesday Tutoring
  • Funding for the ceramics program
  • Orchestra: Sheet music, strings, instruments, instrument cases, instrument cleaning supplies, rosin for bows, instrument holders, tuners, technique books, shoulder rests, instrument repair
  • Funds to buy more robotics kits and extension kits to replace the outdated and discontinued kits
  • Book club sets for the Eagles Read list
  • Stipends for sports coaches and assistant coaches
  • Afterschool activities and summer program fee support
  • Choir: music for performances and piano accompanist
  • Staff Appreciation
  • Band: supplies, reeds, oil, mouthpieces, neck-straps, sheet music, drumsticks
  • Wellness Department Healthy Relationship Groups
  • Science lab materials for all grade levels. Materials include, but are not limited to: Egg Drop supplies, rubber balls, batteries, rubbing alcohol, bags of ice, supplies to make ice cream in a bag, etc.
  • Funding for parent education program, including 1 year membership for Screenagers film
  • Scholarships for Yearbooks
  • Lunch incentives for attendance, behavior and work completion. Lunch incentives have proven extremely effective in re-engaging students to attend school and make improvements in behavior and academics
  • Class set of basketballs for the gym
  • Volleyballs and equipment cart
  • Scholarships for Spirit Gear
  • Sound system and microphone
  • Classroom sets of cacluators for math
  • Family support for our Title I elementary feeder school: Sand Point Elementary
  • After-school enrichment programs

Our goal for the campaign is to raise $150,000. These funds will be used in the 2025 calendar year. Progress will be provided through social media and email updates throughout the campaign.

Yes, all financial contributions to the Eckstein Annual Campaign are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.


Who is behind the fundraiser?

The Eckstein PTSA operates the EAC fundraiser.


How will the funds be managed?

Each year, the teachers and staff of Eckstein put in “grant requests” to the PTSA. (For example, the math department may ask for new and better workbooks or the library may need new chairs.) The PTSA works with the principal to determine which grants are funded or deferred, based on need and budget.


Can I make a recurring donation?

Yes, the Alliance for Education offers a convenient monthly pament option.


How can I request funds from the EAC?

You can request money from the Eckstein Annual Campaign (EAC) for your supplies, projects, or specific family needs. Anyone connected to the school—staff, parents, volunteers and friends of Eckstein—should feel comfortable requesting funds. Before doing any private fund raising, please consider contacting the EAC first. It's easier for you and helps us keep our school's parent fund-raising requests as focused as possible.


All financial contributions to the Eckstein Annual Campaign are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. The Eckstein Annual Campaign is fiscally administrated by the Alliance for Education.
